Koh Mak Resort is located in Ao Suan Yai on the west side of Koh Mak. Its bungalows are all located along the private white sandy beach spanning 1,500 metres. Guests can swim in the infinity pool facing the sea, or enjoy a relaxing massage. The diving school caters to divers of all skill levels. Boats can be rented for snorkelling and fishing trips, and mountain bikes are also available. Accommodations feature a terrace with sun beds. Offering either air conditioning or a fan, each room comes with satellite TV and a safety deposit box. Some rooms have a private jacuzzi. Day Beds Restaurant serves Thai, Chinese and European dishes. I-Talay Restaurant specialises in barbecue and local delights. Koh Mak Resort is a 30-minute speedboat ride from Koh Chang. Getting to the resort from Pattaya takes 3 hours by car to Laem Ngob Pier, followed by a 45-minute speedboat transfer. Driving from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport takes 4 hours and 30 minutes.
